Your Wedding Day isn’t about a the photos, it's about the moments. Forget about feeling uncomfortable in front of the camera and just get on with soaking up the goodness. I am here to capture beautiful images without making you feel under pressure to perform. I will guide you when I need to but mostly I will be encouraging you to have fun and I will capture those moments in a beautiful way. My process is fun when I am directing and I am discrete during proceedings. I often work with other amazing creatives, wether it be a second shooter or a videographer, who ever it is you can be assured I work with them for their personality as much as their skill set.
My main goal is to capture your authentic self and all those epic moments that are a part of your special day.

LETS CHAT
The best way to get a feel for each other is to chat. I like to get to know my couples a bit before before booking them in so we’ll have a quick call and ask each other a few questions. After our chat I can send through more details and we can secure your date. Closer to your Wedding day we will plan a catch up and meet in person.

the WEDDING DAY
By now we will know each other reasonably well. And somehow, on your Wedding day, I will now not only be your photographer, I will be a friend. I will also be making sure you have the best day of your life. I will be managing time for you, making sure you are not stressed, fixing your hair, laughing with your family, eating your food. Your day will unfold and I will be there to capture every moment.

Delivering photos
Your photos will be ready between 6 to 10 weeks, dependant on what part of the 'Wedding Season' your date was. You will receive your edited pictures via a beautiful online gallery, which you can download, share, and print from.
Do you travel for weddings?
Sure do, I love to shoot new places and re-discover paths already crossed. I am based in the Bay of Plenty, though if your Wedding is elsewhere you can enquire about a travel estimate.
Can we meet you before our wedding day?
Getting to you know you before I capture your big day is a big priority of mine, so yes, I meet every couple either through Skype or in person before their wedding day, depending on what's best for you.
How many pictures will I receive?
Depending on how many hours coverage I do and how many epic moments occur, you will receive between 500-800 beautiful images.
Do you work with a Second Shooter?
It all depends on you. I offer a second shooter at an additional charge and strongly believe it is worth every penny. The Second Shooters I work with are some of the best photographers in the industry (not to mention great people). And I definitely prefer to work with a team, hence the name KUSHLA & CO. With an extra shooter I get to cover two locations, two angles, cut down time for Bridal Portraits, family photos, details etc. And at the end of the day you end up with a much broader gallery and many more amazing photos. Four eyes are better than two.
How will I receive my images?
You will receive you images via a beautiful, personal online gallery. You can download, print and share directly from the gallery and it is super easy to navigate. I can also post out a USB with the images if that option suits you better.
DO WE HAVE RIGHTS TO PRINT OUR PHOTOS?
Absolutely!, and please do so!. There is nothing better than seeing a beautiful image brought to life by print. I provide a quality print service through your online gallery, though if you'd like to print elsewhere the choice is yours.
